How We Design Our Screen Enclosures

Explore the basics of how we design all of our screen enclosures.

A great deal of design goes into our custom screen enclosures, and you may have questions about how we design our enclosures. Since we don’t construct one-size-fits-all screen enclosures, each of our screen enclosures must be designed individually. See the basic steps of how we at Hendry Aluminum design an enclosure.

Designing a Screen Enclosure

  1. Home Visit. The first step is to have one of our expert employees come to your home and discuss all of your ideas, must-haves, tastes, and your budget. We’ll take measurements and make preliminary sketches so we know exactly what it is you want in a screen enclosure. We will be able to give you a preliminary estimate, which is always free!
  2. Auto CAD. We then return to the office and put our measurements into our Auto CAD program, a computer program that assists with design. We then have blueprint drawings for engineers to look over and approve.
  3. Getting started. Once you, the homeowner, approves and we sign a contract, we can start the permit process so construction can begin.
